Wasting Time

After some careful consideration and studying of the living room, Tom and I decided where to put the Christmas tree.

You know, the room looks fairly large until you want to put 'just one more thing' in there...

But, its up and decorated and pretty-n-stuff.

We're missing a box of decorations, though.

Paul (our roommate) said he thought he saw it in the shed, but I've yet to search out there.

Of course, I didn't bother to go out to the shed when it was 70 degrees outside.

No, no. I've decided to wait until the mid-west finally realized it is winter.

(You know, you've got to love it when its 70 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday is supposed to be 30-something.)

Anyway.

I've taken the week off of work while Paul is in California. There's not much to do at work anyhow. I didn't see the point in trying to find someone to sit with Tom while I putzed around for an hour at the store.

I suppose I could be wrapping Christmas presents this week. But, I'm just not wanting to do that yet.

But, I did do this (for Trish):

There. There's your flippin' elf, tree and Santa.

(aren't you thrilled by my artwork? I made it with my own two hands!)

Someone please pat me on the back and tell me I did a good job.

Ew. Its awfully pixelly here. Click to enlarge if you want to see the better version.

Yeah, gotta love Missouri! Where else can you be in a t-shirt and shorts one day and need a full set of eskimo clothes the next? No wonder my closet is such a mess! Yeah, that's why....the weather!

OH...and thank you from elf, santa and tree! They look really good considering you did it all by yourself. I'm so proud of you. Consider your back patted now! :o)

How cute that is!

I could use some warm weather at my place. Brrrrr- it's cold here.
