I am a PRO (crastinator)

I really would like to find a house cleaning schedule. You know, something that is written out in an organized fashion.

I know I won't be able to find a pre-written schedule that works one hundred percent with my house. But, it it sure would be great to have a place to start.

My house isn't a disaster (minus my computer desk). Its just not clean.

I need something visual to look at to tell me that Monday equals dusting. Or that every other Tuesday I'm supposed to vacuum under the guest bed...

You know what I mean?

You got something like that?

Gemme!

Umm...You are supposed to vacuum under the guest bed?

Yeah, I have one, too. I had to make it myself to fit my needs, but it would be a place for you to start. I think you have my email, but if not, it's blogaritaatgmaildotcom.

KG and Blogarita - I will email you both to see how you cope with your houses! You guys should really post that somewhere on your blogs so helpless homemakers like me can google your asses! ;)

Granny - Well, at least I'm not the only one that finds cleaning the guest bedroom odd. I figure it can wait until the DAY BEFORE I have a guest! Hehe!

You are so funny. When you get those lists I can help you by being the person who is in charge of making sure you do that stuff on the day. I will come over and inspect every once and a while.

Eliz - Ew, I don't want an inspector! How about you just come over once in a while and tell me how beautiful my house looks?

Blue - I have no idea who you're talking about. Is this a Canadian thing? *mauh*

This is supposed to be the housecleaning bomb.

I don't know though...I am a bit too controlling to have someone else tell me that on Tuesday I gotta scrub my toilet. What if I want to do it on Wednesday? So yea, check it out, I have heard a lot of peeps recommend it.

I need one too. I love BEING in a clean house, but I hate the time it takes to get there.

Thanks for the visit. I do have a suggestion...it's called Merry Maids and they will keep the house up to date! lol Seriously!

Jennifer - This is what I'm saying! This information should be publicly available!

Eliz - Fun for you does not equal fun for Sheila. FYI. :P

Fianna - Thanks for the link, I'll check it out! I'm just looking for a little direction and structure...

Them Country Folk - This is exactly what I'm saying! Thank you!

Hope4Grace - I'd love to be able to pay someone to clean up my house. Regretfully that is not an option for me!

FYI - ya know I'm sort of a freak about these things. I don't think it's a matter of what chore is done...it's taking it one room at a time. That's what does the trick for me. You start with the easiest or least used room and then just work your way around. Carrying cleaning supplies with you. Then when you complete a room, light a candle or incense in that room to mark it's "doneness" and keep moving on. Again, it's a "thing" I do. I know I'm weird. DON'T JUDGE ME!! LOL.
