I just installed our security system. Rather quick and painless.

It has the option to let us know which door or window has been opened, so Tom can keep track of who is coming or going. Like, if Paul goes out the back to water the plants, it will tell us the kitchen door has been opened.

The company has given us a little time to get adjusted to it before calling the cops to our rescue. So, the representative suggested setting off the alarm once... so we know what it sounds like. (Tom did want to hear it how loud it was.)

Uhm, yeah.

So, I did that.

I think my ears might be bleeding.

If any burglar broke in, and that thing sounds... well, I think they might pitch themselves on the floor, plug their ears and cry like a baby until someone comes to save them. They might willingly escort themselves to the police car and quickly say that they'll gladly talk about it in jail, just get them away from that ear piercing noise.

Anyhow. I think I'm satisfied.

I hope I never hear that noise again.
